Kettle Bell Swings, 1.5/1 pood
Reminder that there will be no 12-1pm strength class. All strength class participants will lift at 11AM. This will also be a good time for any make-ups. I encourage those scheduled to lift tomorrow to lift only during the 11 o' clock hour and not during 10AM open gym time. Leave the 10AM open gym time for make-ups.
Also, there is still time to sign up for the clean and jerk seminar tomorrow being held from 12pm to 3pm. You can pay to the left or bring a check made out to me all the way up to 12pm. We have 6 spots left for this seminar.
Next Saturday is the snatch seminar and runs too from 12pm to 3pm. There are only 4 spots left available for this seminar.
The next seminar on the docket will be a woman's only seminar and will cover all gymnastic movements such as handstand push ups, pull ups, push ups, ring push ups, ring dips, pistols, muscle-ups, etc. This seminar will be just the thing you need to focus on becoming better at these tough movements that females sometimes struggle with. Be on the lookout for a date to be scheduled soon. The cost for this seminar will be $45 and limited to the first 12 sign-ups.

If you haven't signed up for the Snatch seminar you should. I attended the clean and jerk seminar and learned so much more abou the mechanics of the lift as well as breaking it down into a progression to improve technique. Not that a CrossFit class doesn't provide some coaching, but 3 hours of dedicated time is well worth the $50.00. If you have any questions and want my opinion just ask.
Saturday's seminar on the C&J was great. 3 hours on these lifts was well worth the time and money. I was exhausted when I got home.
